Lockdown 4.0 | Here’s a look what’s open and where

A day after the Centre extended the fourth phase of the nationwide lockdown till May 31, states have started issuing fresh guidelines to further ease restrictions.

Here’s a look what’s open and where:

Delhi

– Markets can open but shops will open on odd-even basis.

– Sports complexes and stadiums can open but without spectators.

– Restaurants can open for home-delivery, dining facility not allowed

– Taxis and cabs will be allowed but only 2 passengers at a time in a car. Auto-rickshaws, e-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws will be allowed but only with 1 passenger. For two-wheelers, pillion rider will not be allowed.

– Private offices can open at full strength but they should try that most of the staff work from home.

Karnataka

– All shops, including barber shops, spa and salons will be allowed to function till May 31st.

– Trains, bus and taxi services to resume from tomorrow within the state.

– Parks across the state will also open for public from tomorrow, except in the containment zones.

– Only essential services will be allowed in the containment areas within red zones.

– Shopping malls, shopping complexes, cinema halls, gyms, will continue to remain closed.

West Bengal

– Private offices, including those in shopping malls, can operate with 50 per cent strength on alternate days

– Salons and beauty parlours can function in the state but have been warned to maintain disinfection of tools, sanitisation of premises, social distancing and hygiene or risk closure.

– Hotels can be opened in Bengal but with strict social distancing in place.

– Inter-district buses will be allowed. Taxis and buses are already operating with two and 30 passengers respectively.

Gujarat

– Markets and shops in non-containment zones can be opened

– Shops and offices in the non-containment zone can remain open between 8 am and 4 pm.

– Business and commercial establishments need to follow odd-even formula, wherein only 50 percent establishments can remain open on any given day.

– Barber shops and salons in non-containment zones besides shops selling paan masala are allowed to open.

– Restaurant and eateries can remain open for takeaway orders

Maharashtra

– Green zones are working normally. More relaxations will be offered here and in Orange zones. However, relaxations in Red zones will not be possible: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said on Monday.

We are not lifting lockdown because if we do that now, we may have to face unending lockdown in future, he added.
