Key takeaways from Health Ministry daily briefing on COVID-19

In the last 24 hours, 1,553 COVID-19 cases and 36 deaths were reported in the country, the Health Ministry said in its daily media briefing on Monday.

– So far, 2,546 people have been cured and the recovery rate is 14.75 %

– In the last seven days, doubling time is now 7.5 days which was 3.4 days before the lockdown: Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Health Ministry.
