+Amid lockdown, Punjab police brings cake as surprise gift for 1-year-old girl on her birthday
Amid the lockdown, Ritesh Garg and his wife Shimpi Rani, who live in ward number 5 of Mansa in Punjab, were both happy and gloomy.
Happy because it was the first birthday of their second child Myra Garg, and gloomy because they were not able to celebrate it the way they had wanted because of the ongoing lockdown.
But in a heartwarming gesture, Punjab police made Myra’s birthday celebrations special as they delivered a cake and wished her on her first Birthday.
+Kerala successfully battles the virus
Kerala presently has 396 active cases including 255 who have recovered and three deaths. (As per data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare).
This rate of recovery and fewer cases being reported on a day to day basis shows how the state managed to beat the curve and is leading the nation’s fight against this deadly virus.
