Google on Monday launched a series of doodle to honour those on the front lines in the fight against coronavirus.
Sharing information about the initiative, Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted, “Starting today, we’re launching a #GoogleDoodle series to honor many of those on the front lines in the fight against #COVID19. Today’s doodle is dedicated to the public health workers and researchers in the scientific community – on behalf of all of us, thank you.”

Last week, highlighting the importance of staying indoors to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus infection, the search engine giant shared the message of “stay home, save lives” with a colourful doodle on its homepage.

Meanwhile, 1,289,380 people have been infected with the deadly virus so far across the world and 270,372 have recovered. While the global death toll has now surged to 70,590 with the highest number of deaths in Italy, according to Johns Hopkins University.
