FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found the claim to be false.

On putting some of the images through Reverse Image Search, we found that the above pictures were taken in Croatia’s capital Zagreb.

On March 22, 2020, an earthquake rocked Zagreb, damaging buildings and leaving cars crushed. The 5.3-magnitude quake forced people, even in the hospitals, to step for safety.

A BBC report also quoted Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic as saying, “Keep your distance. Don’t gather together. We are facing two serious crises, the earthquake and the epidemic.”

The above information proves that the claim is false and these pictures are not from Italy.
