Video from Senegal Airport shows havoc, people collapsing due to CoronaVirus? Here’s the truth

Date:

A video is doing the rounds on social media showing the impact of Coronavirus at Senegal Airport in Africa. The video shows multiple people on the ground, crying, some coughing with medical professionals around them.

Fact Check

NewsMobile closely analysed the video and towards the end observed that a banner on the video states ‘2019’.

Towards the end, it also showed masked individuals carrying a gun, which appeared unrelated to the Coronavirus.

We went to YouTube and looked up “Senegal Airport” when the original video showed up. It belonged to Dakaractu TV. The caption read: Full-scale test of the Dakar Blaise Diagne Airport emergency plan.

Hence, this proves that the video is unrelated to Coronavirus.
