Parliament LIVE updates | Govt ready for discussion on Delhi violence after Holi: LS Speaker

As the proceedings began on Tuesday of the second leg of the Budget Session, both the Houses of the Parliament witnessed uproar by the Opposition over the Delhi Violence, following which both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned.

Amid ruckus in the Lok Sabha, Speaker OM Birla said that government is ready for a discussion on Delhi violence after Holi. But the Opposition was demanding an immediate discussion on the issue.

On the first day on Monday also, both the Houses had witnessed the pandemonium over Delhi violence which claimed the lives of at least 48 people.

Earlier in the day, Speaker Birla held an all-party meeting to end the logjam in Parliament and to ensure the smooth functioning of the Lok Sabha.
