Ahead of US President Donald Trump’s visit to India on February 24 and 25, Delhi’s ITC Maurya has made all necessary arrangments for his stay.
President Donald Trump who will be accompanied by First Lady Melania and will become the fourth US President to stay at the Grand Presidential Suite which is also known as the Chanakya Suite of the ultra-luxe ITC Maurya on Sardar Patel Marg in Delhi.
Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Barack Obama were the other three presidents who stayed in the Grand Presidential Suite earlier. The suite is on the 14th floor of the building.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kusher will also be staying at the same hotel. They have a choice of the varied luxury suites before them.
The Grand Presidential Suite represents an Indian global theme and has been set up afresh for the US President.
ITC Maurya is the only hotel in India that offers indoor air quality at par with WHO standards.
The Grand Presidential Suite is designed to play host to the extended entourage of luminaries with ease.
The Suite has an exclusive private entrance, a Presidential parking boulevard, a private high speed elevator, state-of-the-art security systems and a Presidential Floor Butler, everything accompanied by efficient service.
It has 2 bedroom mansion of luxury with silk panelled walls, dark wood flooring and magnificent artwork.
With the latest in technology, the suite has 55’ high definition TV’s and IPOD docking station.
It is expected that US President may dine at Bukhara which has recently been declared as one of Asia’s Best 50.
