Get set to travel through India because now the government will take care of your expenses. The department is launching the Paryatan Parv, to promote tourism in India. As part of this initiative, it will fund the travel of people who visit more than 15 Indian destinations in a year as an incentive. The list will be shared soon on the tourism website and it is being done to increase the footfall at tourism spots in the country.

Sun Temple, Konark, Odisha

There is only one clause to this. You have to travel outside your state and will have to upload the photos from the said destinations on the tourism website. Some of the places on the list are Sun Temple at Konark, Odisha, Colva in Goa, Amer Fort in Rajasthan, Somnath and Dholavira in Gujarat, Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, Hampi in Karnataka and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu.

The Centre also plans to introduce tourist trains that will connect lesser-known places in India. So, watch out for details on the Tourism website and start planning an all-expenses-paid trip soon.
