Best known for his role as Kaalia in iconic movie Sholay, Viju Khote, passed away on Monday morning around 8 am.
The veteran actor who is worked in over 300 films including Bollywood and Marathi died at the age of 77. The actor is related to veteran actors Shubha Khote and Durga Khote.

He is famous as the dacoit Kalia in Sholay and the dialogue, “Sardar maine aapka namak khaya hai” and Robert in movie Andaz Apna Apna with the dialogue “galti se mistake hogaya”
