US President Donald Trump on Tuesday reiterated his offer to mediate between India and Pakistan while making it clear that he would do so only if both the countries agreed to the mediation.
“I think as far as Pakistan is concerned, India, their talking, I am certainly willing to help. I think they would in a certain way like my help. But they have to both want it. They have very different views and I am concerned about it,” US President said here minutes before his UNGA speech.

Prez Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly, the key points to be noted in this speech are the following:
- On the burning issue of nationalism, he said that the future belongs to the patriots.
- The United States is taking decisive action against trade imbalances. This assumes significance as the nation is mired in trade disputes with India and China.
- The US had trusted China before but had been repaid with only intellectual property thefts, currency manipulation and theft of trade secrets. The US will not accept any deal with China that is against the interests of the American People.
- The President blasted Iran and called its Government anti people, anti semetic and which supports blood baths. He said that the people of Iran deserve a better government which cares for them and their welfare.
- Peace requires great amounts of courage and the US is exactly doing that in the Korean Peninsula. Keen on its de nuclearization.
- US will never tolerate illegal immigration and those seeking to enter the US illegally will be sent back.
- Trump blamed the Cuban President Maduro and called him a communist stooge.
- He also said that socialism and communism have destroyed US.
