There’s no doubt Anurag Kashyap is one of the finest directors in Bollywood, he has created some brilliant movies, one of them being ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ that was widely appreciated.
Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ has been listed by the UK daily newspaper, The Guardian, as one of the 100 Best Films of the 21st Century. It is also the only Indian film on the list.

Kashyap is known for Black Friday (2004), a controversial and award-winning Hindi film about the 1993 Mumbai bombings, followed by No Smoking (2007), Dev D (2009), Gulaal (2009), That Girl in Yellow Boots (2011) and Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)
On the work front, Kashyap is currently working on Netflix’s horror anthology titled ‘Ghost Stories’.
This omnibus will see four of India’s film directors helm individual stories in the horror or supernatural genre. The stories, directed by Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap.
Ghost Stories is the third collaboration between Netflix and RSVP. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and RSVP, Ghost Stories will stream to 151 million members across 190 countries at the same time.
