Don’t ask questions if a BJP MLA is accused of having raped you: RaGa on Unnao rape case

Date:

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday took a jibe on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’s campaign, saying, Indian women shouldn’t ask questions if a BJP leader is accused of rape.

Taking to Twitter, Gandhi wrote, “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao. A new special education bulletin for Indian women. Don’t ask questions if a BJP MLA is accused of having raped you.”

The Congress leader attacked the BJP over the road accident in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday in which the Unnao rape survivor was critically injured when she along with her family and lawyer were travelling and hit by an over-speeding truck in Rae Bareli.

The case had come to light after the victim allegedly attempted self-immolation outside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence.
