Congress leader, Vikas Chaudhary, shot dead in Faridabad; hit by over 10 bullets

Date:

In a shocking incident, Haryana Congress spokesperson Vikas Chaudhary was shot dead by unknown assailants in Faridabad on Thursday morning when he was on his way back from a gym.

A CCTV footage of the incident showed masked men raining shots on his car. Over 10 bullets hit him and by the time he was taken to the hospital, he had succumbed to his injuries.

State Congress leaders were shocked by the incident and Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar said, “It’s ‘jungle raj, there is no fear of law. Same kind of incident happened yesterday, where a woman who opposed molestation was stabbed. There should be an investigation.”

The incident happened in sector 9 in Faridabad. Police said that four men came in a Maruti Suzuki SX4 car and fired more than 10 bullets at him.
