A foreign ministry official said at least 27 foreign nationals were among the dead.

EAM Sushma Swaraj tweeted that she is in constant touch with Indian High Commissioner in Colombo and they are keeping a close watch on the situation.

It has been conveyed to the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka that India is ready to provide all humanitarian assistance. In case required, India is ready to despatch medical teams as well.

SriLankan Airlines issues notice for passengers travelling during curfew, following the series of explosions that occurred in the Sri Lanka on 21st April. The curfew has been imposed till 6 am on 22nd April.
