Filmmaker Karan Johar introduced the new students of St. Teresa on Thursday – Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday. The trailer of the sequel to the ‘Student of the Year’ franchise has been dropped by the makers. Hollywood star Will Smith has also been roped in to do a cameo song in the film.
Karan Johar posted a tweet sharing the trailer of the sequel with a caption, “Hey they are! The brand new students on the block, ready to win it! #SOTY2Trailer OUT NOW.”

Just like the ‘Student of the Year’, where ‘Disco Deewane’ from the 70s was rehashed, here we see a remake of the hit number ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ which is spot on.
The first film SOTY’s students are also going to do special appearances in SOTY2 alongside the new students. Alia will be grooving with Tiger Shroff in a special song as per sources. Reportedly, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan will also do a cameo in the sequel.
‘Student of the Year 2’ is set to release on May 10, 2019.
