Summer is around the corner and the time is ripe for nice fresh fruits and amazing produce. Now that the season is changing, new and delicious choices are available that are great for summers.

Here are some great choices you can try for summers:

  1. Berries – Raspberries, blueberries and cranberries are a great source of fibre and also help lower cholestrol. According to various studies, they are also a great source of anti-oxidants and help lower fatigue levels and they also are great to munch on.

 

2. Corn –

Sweet corn is synonymous with summers. They have anti-oxidants which help immensely and its a great way to munch something instead of going for junk food.

3. Watermelon – 

Staying hydrated in the summers is very vital for your mood to be stable. The good news is that you don’t just have to drink water. You can eat it, too, in the form of watermelon. It is about 92 percent water.

 

4. Seeds – 

Pumpkin, sunflower, flax seeds and chia seeds can be used in your milk and cornflakes as well as oats for high fibre and nutrition levels. It is great to consume and has a huge nutritional value.

 

5. Muesli – 

Muesli is a typical breakfast item which includes a dry cereal with oats, nuts, fruit and wheat flakes. You can eat many types of muesli and soaked in water, dry or with milk. It is apt for a light breakfast in the morning.
