All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) MP S Rajendran, died in a car accident on Saturday morning near Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu.
According to news agency ANI, a police investigation is underway to find out what exactly happened.

According to local media reports, all the four people travelling in the car were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital where Rajendran was declared dead.
The other three are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital at the moment.
A first-time Member of Parliament, Rajendran was also a member of the standing committee on chemicals and fertilizers and the consultative committee in the ministry of civil aviation.
