The electronic dance music (EDM) festival, Sunburn is finally making a comeback in Goa after a three year long hiatus. The festival will be held over the weekend on February 23 and 24, 2019. Sunburn originally started in Goa in 2007 but was moved to Pune last year owing to some disputes.
The EDM festival has been renamed to Sunburn Klassique, this time around. It will take place on the shore of Vagator beach with some of the big names in the international music scene participating in the event. The line up includes stellar artists from India and abroad like Markus Schulz, KSHMR, Rave Radio, Art Department and Mariana Bo. The music will have flavours of EDM, techno, house and trance.

The festival will be divided into four stages where over 40 performers will be dropping live beats – Klassique, Techno Kraft, Psychedelic Cirkus, and Vinyl Ambulance. There will be a flea market with a combination of local food and others along with drinks for the music lovers.

Clapton who excels in techno and house is playing for the first time in India and will be bringing his golden beaked mask to the country. In the Indian scene, the guys who helmed the electronic music, The Midival Punditz will also be performing a DJ set with Nathulal Solanki, Rajasthan’s master percussionist.
