BAFTA Awards 2019 – List of winners is out

The Bafta Awards 2019 winner list is out ahead of the Oscars.

Alfonso Cuarón’s Spanish language black and white film, ‘Roma’ and ‘The Favourite’ snagged the coveted awards. ‘Roma’ won big taking home best film best film not in the English language, best director and best cinematography.’The Favourite’ won 7 out of the 12 nominations including leading actress and outstanding British film.

The fan favourites, ‘A star is born’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ despite getting nominated in many categories won only 1 or 2 awards.
