7 Wonders of the World are not far anymore

The soon-to-be-inaugurated tourist attraction in Delhi boasts of the replicas of the seven iconic wonders of the world. The 7 Wonders of the World Park will be a complete eco-friendly park in Delhi and is to be open to the public by the second week of February 2019.

Built by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, wind and solar power will be used to cater to the electricity and power demands in the premises. The park is located near Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal in East Delhi.

Comprising the replicas of the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Great Pyramid of Giza, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro, Rome’s Colosseum, and the Statue of Liberty.

Scraps of automobile parts have been used to create the clones of the structures. There will be three solar trees with a capacity of 6 kilowatt of power in each tree. There are also plans of installing a wind turbine in the park.

The height of the replicas will be between 25 and 30 feet, besides the Eiffel Tower which will be 70 feet high. A selfie point has also been made for tourists to click pictures with the structures.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 7.5 crore and to enter the premises a small entry fee would be applicable for visitors to keep the attraction clean and clutter-free with the provision for eateries, a playing area for children, and a parking facility.
