In pictures: Kangana, Ankita, Prasoon Joshi launch ‘Bharat’, the ‘aatma’ of the Manikarnika

Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and lyricist Prasoon Joshi on tuesday launched the first and the most pivotal song of their new film ‘Manikarnika’- Bharat.

“This song is the spirit of our film. The aatma of our film. Delhi is the spirit of India, its aatma and the heart as well. So there is no better place to launch this film than in Delhi. That’s why we have come here, to launch the song and to make you all a part of the event”, said an absolutely elegant Kangana while the launch of the song.

The event commenced with Kangana lighting a lamp near a spectacular rangoli of the Manikarnika poster followed by a premiere of the song. There was also a live performance on the song followed by a media interaction.

Kangana Ranaut and Prasoon Joshi call ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is tribute to Rani Lakshmibai and her warrior spirit which carved some of the deepest lines in the history of India.

‘Bharat’ is song showing the journey of a young Manikarnika who grows up up be the ‘Jhansi ki Rani’. The patriotism-evoking song is close to Ranaut’s heart and she states her immense love for the country.
