Shri Ram School Aravali celebrates Hindi Utsav, Navchetna

Shri Ram School Aravali, Gurugram, on Friday, celebrated the ‘Hndia Utsav Navchetna’.

The fest was aimed at reinstating the love, pride and interest in the Hindi language. One should be proud and confident while writing and reading the language.

Students, along with their teachers, researched on the given topics and, prepared and presented the stalls in a beautiful and constructive manner.

The enclosure and games stalls were decorated brightly and students came in according to their duties. The students interacted with the several people coming at the stalls, and talked with them about the language.

Prior to the event, the students from class 4th and 5th participated in a logo and mascot- making competition. All students till class 4th made and wore badges with their name and a drawing, which explained the meaning of their names, on it.

The event was attended by Loom and Madhubani artists, who shared their knowledge and experiences about the art with the students.

Many other institutions like Pragati School, Happy School and Anand Vidyalaya attended the event.

The students of Shri Ram also made items like paper bags, fridge magnets, pickle, etc, which were put up for sale, the proceedings of which would go to NGOs.

The students put up performances and puppet shows portraying the culture and diversity of the country, famous idioms and proverbs in Hindi and eminent writers in the language.
