Find out which is the safest country in the world

A survey was carried out by a leading publication namely, Which? Travel, which ranked the top 20 world population destinations in terms of safety. The factors kept in mind during the ranking included natural disasters, crimes, terror attacks, and health issues.

An extensive research was done and reports were pulled from various sources like the World Risk Report for natural disasters and others for the respective concerns.

According to all the reports, Iceland tops the ranking of the safest country in the world followed by Dubai, Singapore, Spain, Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, Jordan, and Barbados.

India, however, was ranked as the fourth most dangerous country in the world after South Africa, Turkey, and Thailand, and before Mexico.

If we talk about the safest and most dangerous countries, Iceland stands as safest and South Africa stands as the most dangerous county in the world owing to health issues and high crime rates.

On the disaster front, India is slightly behind while on the safety criteria it crosses the rate of crime, it is ahead of South Africa, Thailand and Turkey. Looking at the health factor, the international travelers visiting India need to be cautious of diseases and viruses like Zika, Dengue, Malaria, Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Diphtheria.
