Yesterday, heavy snowfall and rain occurred in Himachal Pradesh. Further warnings have been issued by the Indian Meteorological Departments for more snowfall and rains till today. A majority of the tourist towns of the state such as Shimla, Kufri, Manali, Dalhousie, Narkanda, Dharamshala, and Palampur have been warned against more rainfall, while, Lahual-Spiti, Kinnaur, and Keylong can expect more snowfall.
The coldest temperature was recorded at -3.3 degrees Celsius in Keylong, followed by one degree Celsius in Kalpa and Manali at 1.2 degree Celsius.

The officials of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir have been advised to keep a track of the situation and monitor the snowfall and avalanche in the higher altitudes.
