Last Delhi metro train to run at 10 PM on Diwali

On Diwali, the metro train services will be available till 10.00 PM as per the statement by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday.

This measure has been taken in order to ensure the safety of commuters on Diwali. One of the DMRC officials said “On account of Deepawali festival the last metro train services on the day will be at 10 pm instead of 11 pm from terminal stations of all metro lines including Aiport Express Line.”

The official further said that the services for the rest of the day will the same as 6.00 AM on all lines and 4.45 AM on Airport Express Line.

The city has till now seen a decrease in the number of fire crackers owing to the order by the Supreme Court that banned crackers in the city.
