BJP MP Rakesh Sinha set to move Bill for Mandir construction

Date:

Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha on Thursday said he will move a private members bill in the upper house during the winter session of parliament for the construction of Ram Mandir.

The BJP MP took to Twitter to raise questions against those who have been criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on the Ram Mandir and demanded their support to bring the bill in the Rajya Sabha.

“To the people who have been complaining to BJP and RSS about the date for the Ram Mandir, I have a clear-cut question, will they support my private member bill? ‘The time has come -Doodh ka doodh Paani ka Paani karne ka,” he tweeted

In another tweet, he dared Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury, Laloo Prasad Yadav and Mayawati to support the private member bill on the Ram Mandir.

This development has come after the Supreme Court on October 29 declined to give an urgent date of hearing for the Ayodhya dispute case. A three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and Justices SK Kaul and KM Joseph ordered the case to be listed in the first week of January before an appropriate bench for fixing a date of hearing.

Leaders from the VHP, RSS and Shiv Sena demanded the centre to bring an ordinance for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh’s daughter, Aparna Yadav on Wednesday asserted that the Ram Mandir should be built on the disputed land of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.
