An 11-month old baby died on-board Qatar Airways which was from Doha to Hyderabad on Wednesday after he developed a breathing problem, the airport sources said.

The airport officials also said that the baby, Arnav Sharma and his parents arrived from Doha and were immediately taken to the hospital due to the breathing problem. The baby was declared dead on arrival.

“We are aware of the very sad news that a young child passed away at Hyderabad International Airport this morning. Our heartfelt sympathy and thoughts are with the affected family,” Qatar Airways statement said.
