Men beaten by bouncers in Gurugram for dancing on table top

A businessman hailing from Vasant Kunj in New Delhi was allegedly beaten up along with two of his friends at a micro-brewery in Sector 29, Gurugram.

On Saturday, the three friends were having a good time, drinking and eating where they were beaten up by bouncers.

One of the men from Delhi 33-years-old suffered a skull fracture and ruptured his eardrum. Another friend who resides in Gurugram sustained minor injuries and the third friend who was 31-years-old was luckily unhurt.

According to the report by the Delhi resident, one of the three friends was dancing on the table top while having dinner and was asked by one of the bouncers to get off the table around 9.30 pm.

According to them, the matter had ended there, however, when they were moving out of the micro-brewery around 12.00 midnight, another bouncer charged at them and said: “zada uchal rahe they andar”.

The bouncer who originally told the man to get off the table also joined the other and both of them beat the three men. According to them, the bouncers were slashed. One of the men fainted after a head injury and when he woke up he was found in a hospital.

When the staff at the micro-brewery was interrogated, they denied any knowledge of the incident. The management has jointly refused to pass comments on the matter.

From the reports of the police, the incident took place in the parking lot of the Sector 29 market and all the other bars, micro-breweries, and restaurants have been asked to share the CCTV camera footage that had the incident recorded.
