2018’s Big Bollywood promise is the Gurugram lad Rajkummar Rao

Date:

Within a very short time span, Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has gained popularity in the film industry. He is one of the actors who has actually struggled his way into Bollywood without having any godfathers in the industry.

He studied Method Acting from Film and Television Institute of India and also practices method acting which is brilliantly seen in his films. One of the best traits seen in Rao is the roles that he plays and the talent of mastering those roles.

If you have seen his films City Lights and Aligarh, you would be able to understand what is being said about him. Hailing from Gurugram, Haryana, Rajkummar tries to be as natural in his acting as possible and does not try to overpower his role.

From a very young age, Rao had an idea that acting would be the right field for him and since then itself he began struggling towards it. His acting journey began with the film ‘Love, Sex and Dhokha’ for which he passionately worked out and stopped eating to lose weight.

Rajkummar has been in the Bollywood industry for eight years now and already he has been seen in transitional roles in different films that perfectly exhibit his versatility. From ‘Bose’ in which he played Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to his latest ‘Fanney Khan’, the transition of his roles was exemplary.

As Rajkummar Rao has turned 34 on August 31, his celebrations began with his girlfriend Patralekha and a few close friends by cutting a cake and dancing with the guests.
