Indian sprinters Hima Das and Muhammed Anas have bagged silver medals in 400m race respectively in the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian Games on Sunday.
Taking it to Twitter, the President of India Ram Nath Kovind congratulated both Das and Anas.

In women’s 400m event, Das finished second on the podium with a clock timing of 50.59 while Bahraini sprinter, Salwa Naser clinched the gold medal with a timing of 50.9.
In men’s 400m event, Anas clinched the silver as he clocked 45.69 while Abdalelah Hassan of Qatar bagged the gold medal with a timing of 44.89.
India’s total medal tally now stands at 33 with 7 gold, 9 silver and 17 bronze.
