It’s a new political war and senior government Minister Piyush Goyal who is Finance, Railways, Coal and Company Affairs Minister has now described Rahul Gandhi as a ‘merchant of hate’.
Replying to Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s tweet on recent lynching incident in Alwar, Piyush Goyal on Monday tweeted: “Stop jumping with joy every time a crime happens, Mr Rahul Gandhi. The state has already assured strict & prompt action.”

Earlier, Congress President attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the mob lynching that took place on Saturday.

“This is Modi’s brutal “New India” where humanity is replaced with hatred and people are crushed and left to die,” Gandhi tweeted.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Smriti Irani also launched an attack on Gandhi as she said: “It is shameful that he is doing the same through VULTURE POLITICS.”

The lynching took place on Saturday when Akbar Khan, 28, along with his friend was taking cows to his village through a forest near Lalawandi area in Alwar district. Some locals allegedly thrashed him, suspecting him to be a cow smuggler. Doctors declared him dead on arrival.
