Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti warns BJP

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti warned the ruling party, BJP against any interference in the state. “If Delhi tries to break PDP then outcomes will be dangerous,” the PDP leader said in Srinagar on Friday.

BJP and PDP ruled the state for three years with Mufti as the Chief Minister till June and after that BJP broke off its alliance with the PDP, resulting Mehbooba Mufti to resign as the Chief Minister.

According to the reports, Mufti gave her statement in Hindi and this is what her statement translates to: “If, like in 1987, Delhi hijacks the vote of this state’s people if this kind of break up of loyalties is attempted, the manner in (happen again)…if those in Delhi try to break up the PDP, let there be no doubt the result of that will be exceedingly dangerous.”
