Srinagar: A day after suspected terrorists abducted a policeman from a local medical shop in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, constable Javaid Ahmad Dar’s body was found by locals at Pariwan Kulgam.
As per sources, Javid Ahmed Dar, like Indian Army Rifleman Aurangzeb, was killed for being part of several Counter-terror Operations in Kashmir over last few years. Javid had an important role to play in the killing of dreaded terrorist Waseem Malla of Hizbul in April 2016.

Malla was an associate of Burhan Wani and his killing was a major breakthrough for forces. Javid was part of all Counter-terror Operations as he was attached with Shopian SSP Shailendra Mishra for last 7 postings.
The nation paid its respect to the martyred cop in the Wreath laying ceremony which was held early in the morning on Friday.
Previously, constable Javaid Ahmad was kidnapped by unknown gunmen, a police official informed. The Terrorist released a picture of Javaid, in which torture marks are seen in his body.
As per reports, Javaid was kidnapped from a local medical shop where a car came took him to an unknown location. Reports further stated that it was the same place from where they had abducted Rifleman Aurangzeb, who was tortured and killed by the terrorist, last month.
Last month, a Special Police Officer (SPO) went missing in Pampore district of Jammu and Kashmir. The officer reportedly left Pampore police station with an AK-47 rifle along with him. The Kashmir valley witnessed horrors last month with the shooting of senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari and murder of Rifleman Aurangzeb, who was abducted by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.
