Minister dares Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan, Saina Nehwal to a fitness challenge

Date:

Olympic medalist and Minister of State (independent charge) in the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry, Col Rajyavarshan Rathore, has issued an interesting challenge to some of India’s best-known sports and entertainment personalities in a bid to promote fitness among Indians.

Taking to Twitter, Col Rathore, who won a Silver medal in the Double Trap event at the 2004 Athens Olympics, has championed the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign by performing a set of push-ups, clearly demonstrating that he means what he says!

Further, not only is the minister absolutely comfortable doing a high-intensity workout (however brief) in the middle of a work-day in what looks to be his office wearing formal clothes, he’s also challenged others to follow suit.

In his tweet, Col Rathore has picked out Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan, Team India captain Virat Kohli and fellow Olympic medal-winner Saina Nehwal to join him for the #FitnessChallenge.

In the video, he has also credited the Prime Minister, citing his energy to work day and night.

Meanwhile, actor Hrithik Roshan took the challenge and poster a video of him cycling across the streets of Mumbai and urging people to cycle to stay fit.
