ICSE and ISC results 2018 out today: Here’s how to check yours

Date:

ICSE Board Results 2018: The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination will declare the results of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or Class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Class 12 board examinations today at 3pm. Students will be able to check their result on the official website: cisce.org.

Here’s how to check:

* Log on to cisce.org

* Click on Results 2018

* Select your course: ICSE or ISC

* Enter the Candidate UID and the Captcha

* Click on Show Result

* Take a printout of your result

The council had announced earlier that the pass marks for the ICSE exam will now be 33% instead of 35%, and ISC students will have to score 35% marks instead of 40% to be declared successful.

The change in the passing marks for the ICSE and ISC exams will be effective from this year and not from 2019 as communicated by the board earlier.

The ISC practical answer scripts for subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and biotechnology were evaluated by appointed visiting examiners on the day of the exam at the school and not at centralised evaluation centres as was done till 2017.

The ISC exams began from February 7 and ended on April 2 and the ICSE exams were held from February 26 to March 28.
