A history professor from Kerala opens a library on Sachin Tendulkar

As Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 45th birthday, warm wishes have poured in for the ‘God of Cricket’. Fans have also gone out of their way to make the legendary Indian cricketer feel special.

One such fan is a history professor from Malabar Christian College in Kozhikode city in Kerala. The professor Vasisht Manikoth has set up a library on the ‘master-blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar.

“All the books here are based on Sachin Tendulkar, published in the various languages of India,” news agency ANI quoted the professor as saying.

As per reports, the library consists of 60 books on Sachin, published in eleven languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, and Hindi.

From Mohammad Kaif a former India cricketer to star boxer Vijender Singh all took to their official Twitter handles to wish the master blaster on his special day.
