TV Journalist shot at resident in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Apr. 8: A television journalist who works for a Hindi news channel was shot by unidentified attackers in Uttar Pradesh’s Gaziabad on Sunday.

The journalist who work for a Hindi news channel sustained two  wounds on his right hand and abdomen when two attackers forced their way into his residence.

He has been shifted to the nearby hospital and according to doctors is in critical condition and have to go through surgery.


According to Gaziabad police, four team has been constituted for arrest of attackers who fired bullet shots at the journalist. (ANI)

“Two bike-borne assailants, who were wearing helmets, barged into the scribe’s residence in Rajapur locality in Kavi Nagar police station jurisdiction around 6.15pm and shot at Chaudhary. The attackers fled the spot immediately”, said  Senior Superintendent of Police, Vaibhav Krishna.

According to initial investigation personal enmity being the reason behind the shootout.
