Bollywood’s star Ajay Devgn mostly seen in the roles of powerful cops in movies like Singham, Gangajal among other. However, there’s another side to the actor which we didn’t know.
The actor has never been a part of controversies was put behind bars twice. Ajay Devgn himself revealed in a recent interview to a media portal.
“I have been behind bars — twice inside a lock-up; even sneaked out my father’s (Veeru Devgn) gun. And guys, that’s illegal,” said Ajay.
During the interview to the media house, he recounted how he was forced into doing his debut film ‘Phool Aur Kante’ which his life’s main motto used to be loitering around and having fun with friends.
The actor went on reveal an interesting detail about himself. Only a few know that the actor’s real name is not Ajay, it’s Vishal. He also revealed why he changed his name.
“I’ll tell you why. In 1991, a couple of actors with the name Vishal were being launched. One of them was Manoj (Kumar) saab’s son. There was major confusion. One of us had to change our name. So I did!” said Ajay.
Ajay’s upcoming film ‘Raid’ is all set to hit the screens this Friday. The film is based on a true story about money laundering. The movie also stars Ileana D’Cruz.
