Honor 7C with FullView display, dual cameras to be launched on March 12

The Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is planning release the Honor 7C this month in China. Official invites have been by the company for an event which will take place on March 12. The invite reveals that the upcoming smartphone to have a 5.99-inch display along with dual cameras and face recognition technology.

The Honor 7C is a toned down version of the Honor 7X. The device was found on TENNA last month. According to the listing, the smartphone would sport a 5.99-inch display with a 1440×720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor along with either 3GB/4GB RAM. It will also be equipped with a dual camera set up – 13MP + 2MP sensors. It will also include an 8MP front-facing camera.

Huawei’s upcoming smartphone will come with an internal storage of 32GB along with a microSD card; connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.1.

Honor 7C will run on Android 8.0 Oreo, it will most likely be backed up by a 2900mAh battery. The device will be priced at $249 (approximately Rs 16,200) and come in Black, Gold and Blue colour variants.

Huawei Honor 7X was unveiled in December last year and it carries features such as 5.9-inch Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, an octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM, a 16MP + 2MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera.

The device is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage variants and supports expandable storage via microSD card of up to 256GB. The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
