After an year of the massive protests against the movie Padmaavat, for distorting the historical facts and their showing their Rani Padmini, whom they worship, dancing in front of many people which their Rani’s don’t do. Karni Sena, on Friday, accepted to take the protests back as it glorifies the valour of Rajputs and maintain peace in all the states.
The protests started in January 2016, when Bhansali was slapped on the sets of, then Padmavati, in Jaipur when the Karni Sena claimed that they are trying to shoot a romantic sequence between Rani Padmini (Deepika Padukone) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh). Despite Bhansali’s statement that there is no such scene in the movie the protests continued across many states.
