At least one person was killed and eight were left injured in the third terror attack in a row strikes London streets as a man jumped out of a van and stabbed at least a person. The Muslim Council of Britain has confirmed that worshippers leaving Finsbury Park Mosque were targeted when a van ran into them, adding: ‘Our prayers are with the victims.’

The attack happened after the people were getting out of the mosque after breaking the Ramadan fast. Chairman of the mosque, Mohammed Kozbar told: ‘Whoever did this, he did it to hurt people and it’s a terrorist attack.
A witness told, according to the reports that there were three men in the van. He said one was arrested and two ran away. But this has not been confirmed. Police have simply said one man has been arrested.
One man could be seen giving CPR to a victim in the street while another man’s head injury was treated with a makeshift dressing. People could be heard shouting and screaming amid the chaos and bloodstains were visible on the pavement.
Prime minister Theresa May also described the situation near Finsbury Park mosque as a “terrible incident”. “All my thoughts are with those who have been injured, their loved ones and the emergency services on the scene,” she said.
