After ‘Dangal’, ‘Sultan’ all set to be released in China

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, a starrer movie, which portrays a father’s determination to train his daughters so as to get the country worldwide honour and acclaim through the sport, created quite a storm at the worldwide Box Office. The film based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat was released in China too.

While the film already broke Box Office records in India, it was close to achieving 2000 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office in China. Before this film, Aamir Khan’s movie ‘PK’ was also released in China and did a good business there.

Looking at how the business of Bollywood movies are doing in China, more space has been given to other stars to release their films there as a result of which Salman Khan’s and Anushka Sharma’s starrer movie ‘Sultan’ will be released in China at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The film was also screened at the Busan Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India.
