Former Bihar Cheif Minister, Rabri Devi is looking for a ‘suitable bride’ for her sons, Tej Prasad and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav which are both ministers in Bihar government.

At Lalu Prasad Yadav’s 70th birthday, on asking Rabri Devi what kind of bride does she want for her sons, she replied would not like cinema hall and mall-going girls as her daughters-in-law; instead, she prefers a “well-cultured girl”, especially for Tej who, she said, is very religious.

Rabri said, “Cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, jaise ki hum hain, waisi ladki chahiye. (I don’t want cinema hall and mall-going girls. She should be one who can look after the house, respect elders, and manage outside work, just like me).”
