A concert driven by emotions: One Love Manchester

Date:

After the shocking Manchester suicide bombing in world-famous Ariana Grande’s concert, the 23-year-old-singer promised her fans that she will return to Manchester to have a benefit concert to raise money for the victims and their family. Tickets were sold out within 6 minutes and the people who attended the previous concert had free entry. The terror attack did not stop the people of Manchester and the neighbouring places from attending the benefit concert, it was attended by 50,000 people. The event was broadcasted on at least 65 British radio stations.

Guest stars included Justin Bieber, the Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Marcus Mumford, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Katy Perry, Take That, Imogen Heap, Pharrell Williams, Robbie Williams, and Liam Gallagher. While performing, “Where is the love” alongside the Black Eyed Peas, Allan Pineda Lindo thanked all those people who fearlessly showed up for the concert and gave support in terms of donation and strength to the families which previously suffered.

Miley Cyrus wrote a song called ’Inspired’ and dedicated it to all the victims and supporters, which brought tears to most faces.

Speaking about bravery, Justin Bieber reminded us that “love always wins”. He emphasised on the concert being a fight against the evil.

What previously happened at the concert was heartbreaking, but it wasn’t enough to keep the people of Manchester down. A concert driven by emotions, Ariana believed that this event is a time to heal and to show that terrorism is never the answer, but the real answer is love. Including donations during the concert, the fund has now received more than $12 million since its creation.
