EA Minister Sushma Swaraj scraps Trump’s allegations on India signing Paris Agreement

External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj addressed the media on Annual Press Conference on completion of 3 years of the government. Known for her swift actions and activeness on social media, Sushma Swaraj answered several questions to clear the doubts of the nation.

The recent allegations made by American President Donald Trump after deciding to end Paris Climate Agreement. He said India has signed the agreement to get billion and billions of dollars. Sushma Swaraj rubbished the allegations straight away saying that the Paris Agreement is not under any pressure or any kind of financial benefits for the country. It is just like our culture where we pray to mountains, trees, and rivers and it’s for the soul motive of saving our mother nature.

While speaking on the environment day she said its relations with the United States of America remains the same as it was during the Obama’s regime.

On the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, she said “Pakistan is considered to be as same as any other country by the External Affairs Ministry. India is ready to solve the issues with Pakistan by holding talks bilaterally, but Pakistan can not take the Kashmir issue to the International Court of Justice.”
