Three people were held by the Manipur police and Assam Rifles when they were found carrying 2,780 rounds of AK rifle’s ammunition in the car Manipur’s Churachandpur district, on Tuesday.

Khaigninlal Haokip, Jangkhokhonao and Timkangphai the convicts were caught when they were traveling on a highway in Kangvi area.
A case has been registered against them after the ammunition were seized from their possession, the police added.
