Tiger Shroff to play Indian Rambo, Stallone wishes team

Ever since it hit the social media that Tiger Shroff will be playing Rambo in the Indian remake there is  no dearth of comments and postings including a one by the original Rambo, Sylvester Stallone who posted his good wishes on Twitter.

He also added a word of caution on Instagram saying, “hope they don’t wreck it…”

I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India !! .. Great character.. hope they don’t wreck it .

The poster that was revealed today showed off Tiger Shroff’s toned physique to perfection. Tiger himself shared the poster on both Twitter and Facebook saying, “Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later.”

While it remains to be seen whether the movie will actually do well here, but, from the interest it has whipped up it looks like Tiger’s stars are on ascend mode.

The film will go on floors next year and is reported to release by the end of 2018. Siddharth Anand, who directs Tiger Shroff in the Hindi remake of Rambo, had also helmed Bang Bang!, the Hindi version of Tom Cruise’s Knight And Day which makes Stallone’s word of caution seem pertinent considering his last outing.
