5 people got killed and 10 got injured when the lightning hit a house in Kalugodu village in Anantapur district on Sunday.
The house caught fire and killed 5 people on the spot while injured 4 others in the house.

This is the second incident within 10 days in the district, while earlier a boy died by lightning when he was talking over the cell phone and the phone blasted due to short circuit by the vibrations caused by the Lightning on the cell tower.
