Over 300 kids were auditioned for Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic

New Delhi [India],   With just a few weeks left in the release of ‘ Sachin: A billion Dreams,’ a biopic on the life of great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and the makers left no chance to make everything look realistic.

About 300 kids were auditioned to recreate the portions of the cricket icon during his younger days in the movie.

The main criteria for selection was the candidate had to look close to the younger version of Sachin and he should also be able to adapt his mannerisms with ease and conviction.

Mikhail Gandhi was chosen to essay the role of young cricketing legend, among the children who were screen-tested.

The Master Blaster was very mischievous and full of mirth during his childhood and some of the many pranks he pulled off on his buddies have also been recreated for this bio-drama.

The recently released trailer of the much-awaited biographical drama, ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams,’ has received a huge response from all quarters and has created an audience awaiting the release of the film.

The movie captures the cricket and personal life of the master blaster in detail, revealing aspects of his life, which have never been heard of or seen before.

Produced by Ravi Bhagchandka of 200 Not Out and Shrikant Bhasi of Carnival Motion Pictures, and helmed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine, ‘ Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is all set to release on 26th May
